The first BarCamp is being held in Australia this year! BarCamps, those crazy unconferences, will be held in states across Australia at the same time on the 3rd and 4th of March.
BarCampSydney is calling you. Come along, join in. There are no spectators, only participants!
What is it?
BarCamp is an ad-hoc unconference born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from attendees. Anyone with something to contribute or with the desire to learn is welcome and invited to participate.
Who can come along?
Anyone who is interested in technology, the Internet and related topics. We have room for 200 people, so bring your colleagues.
When?
9.00am to 4.30pm – 3rd and 4th of March 2007
Where is it?
The BarCampSydney venue is Building 10 of the University of Technology, Sydney (near Central Station). Jones St between Thomas and Broadway
Can you present?
Absolutely! Slots will be around 5-10 minutes of talking and 10-15 minutes of Q&A. You can choose from a wide variety of options including solo presentations, joint presentations, discussion panels, fish bowls and many more…
