CSS and JavaScript workshop – foundations of the new web

If you’re interested in building websites that will work now and into the future, this two day workshop, CSS and Javascript workshop, is for you. Cameron Adams and I have put together an exclusive workshop for designers and developers.

Day 1 covers a range of aspects of CSS including:

  • understanding CSS rule structure and selectors
  • writing efficient CSS code
  • building cross-browser stable CSS layouts
  • creating layouts that are fully expandable
  • dealing with browser bugs and layout variations

Day 2 covers beginners and intermediate aspects of Javascript including:

  • constructing a Javascript dropdown menu
  • producing a collapsible and expandable list
  • validating a form using Javascript
  • creating dynamic page layouts based on screen resolution
  • developing inline editing with AJAX
